Part Time Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Weekday Evening Receptionist at our Bloomington Community.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing a positive, welcoming environment to visitors, families, professionals and potential residents. The responsibilities include general office administration, receptionist duties and customer service performed in a professional, efficient manner.
Hours: 24-32 hours per pay period (bi-weekly). Available shifts are 4-8pm Monday-Friday, 9am - 6pm every other weekend. Flexibility to pick up shifts preferred.
Pay: $18-$20 per hour predicated on experience
Essential Duties:
- Ensure and maintain a neat and clean working environment.
- Answer and forward incoming calls to appropriate personnel in a polite manner.
- Receive guests and others in a courteous, polite and warm manner.
- Monitor all incoming public traffic and assists with job applicants.
- Open and process mail daily. Processes outgoing mail.
- Use and maintain office equipment in good working order.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the various departments.
- Maintain an effective and orderly filing system.
- Comply with confidentiality and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to safety hazards, fire drills and other emergency situations.
- Maintain a current file/list of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of personnel, department extensions, and resident/staff birthdays.
- Maintain all marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an administrative support and or other healthcare related environment, preferred.
- Experience in using computer programs and operating common office equipment.
- Punctual, with satisfactory attendance record. Provides proper notice of tardiness or absence.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Must function independently, have flexibility & personal integrity.
