PM Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medina, MN

The Wealshire of Medina, a Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care Community, is looking to employ a Full-Time LPN for the PM Shift (1:45 pm to 10:00 pm). Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care, preferred. Recently licensed graduates are welcome to apply! Best hourly pay and employee benefits in the Twin Cities.

Total Pay: $29-33 per hour

  • Base Pay = $28-$32 per hour predicated on experience
  • Shift Differential = $1.00 per hour for the PM shift
  • Total Pay = Base Pay + Shift Differential = $29-$33 per hour

LPN Duties:

  • Provide bedside cares and ADL’s
  • Administer medication for up to 25 residents and implement Physicians orders
  • Take vital signs
  • Assist with resident comfort
  • Monitor, prepare and/or administer - injections, enemas and/or catheters
  • Oversee NAR/CNA and help coach staff as necessary
  • Assists with Hospital transfers, admissions, discharges requested by the Director of Nursing
  • Communicate with families, medical professionals, and staff

LPN Skills:

  • Must be Current and in good standings with the MN State Nursing Board
  • Must Read, Write, and Speak fluent ENGLISH
  • Must be current on CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday
  • Must have passion for elderly and the Alzheimer’s and dementia population
  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to follow nursing procedures correctly
